By accessing or using SnapHome, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Eligibility
Users must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be located within the United States
- Have authority to use the service
Service Description
SnapHome provides inspection documentation software.
SnapHome is not:
- A law firm
- A property management company
- An insurance company
- A contractor
- An appraisal service
No Legal Advice
Nothing provided by SnapHome constitutes legal advice.
Users should consult qualified professionals when legal guidance is needed.
Authority to Inspect
Users represent and warrant that they have authority to:
- Enter the property
- Conduct inspections
- Capture photos
- Capture videos
- Collect signatures
- Create inspection documentation
Digital Signatures
Users consent to electronic records and electronic signatures.
Electronic signatures may have the same legal effect as handwritten signatures to the extent permitted by applicable law, including ESIGN and UETA.
Inspection Records
Inspection media must be captured directly within the SnapHome workflow.
SnapHome does not guarantee:
- Accuracy of user submissions
- Authenticity of user statements
- Completeness of inspections
- Accuracy of inspection conclusions
Court-Ready Documentation
SnapHome may describe inspection records as court-ready documentation.
This means inspection records are designed to be organized, timestamped, signed, and preserved.
SnapHome does not guarantee:
- Admissibility in court
- Evidentiary weight
- Legal sufficiency
- Success in litigation
- Security deposit recovery
- Any particular legal outcome
User Content
Users retain ownership of inspection content.
Users grant SnapHome a limited license to store, process, display, transmit, and generate documentation from content submitted through the platform.
Intellectual Property
Except for User Content, all SnapHome software, source code, website content, branding, logos, trademarks, documentation, AI systems, graphics, designs, and other intellectual property are owned exclusively by SnapHome LLC.
Users receive only a limited right to access and use the platform in accordance with these Terms.
Acceptable Use
Users may not:
- Submit fraudulent information
- Forge signatures
- Upload illegal content
- Misrepresent inspection conditions
- Interfere with platform operations
- Circumvent security controls
- Violate applicable laws
User Feedback
If users voluntarily submit ideas, feature requests, suggestions, recommendations, or feedback, SnapHome may use that feedback without restriction, obligation, or compensation.
Beta and Coming Soon Features
Features labeled:
- Beta
- Experimental
- Coming Soon
may change, be unavailable, contain errors, or be removed without notice.
AI Features
SnapHome may provide AI-assisted features to help users document and compare property conditions.
Use of these features is also governed by SnapHome's separate AI Disclosure.
Users remain solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated outputs and making independent decisions.
Payments
Fees may be charged for platform access and inspection services.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once processing has begun.
Platform Availability
SnapHome does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation. Services, features, or functionality may be updated, modified, suspended, interrupted, or discontinued at any time.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapHome shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages.
Users assume responsibility for all decisions made using inspection records generated through the platform.
Force Majeure
SnapHome shall not be responsible for delays, interruptions, or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, cyberattacks, governmental actions, labor disputes, failures of third-party providers, or similar events.
Indemnification
Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SnapHome LLC, its officers, managers, members, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents from claims arising from:
- User conduct
- Property disputes
- Inspection disputes
- Violation of law
- Violation of these Terms
Arbitration
All disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
Class Action Waiver
Users agree to resolve disputes individually and waive participation in class actions, class arbitrations, representative actions, and collective proceedings.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the SnapHome platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Termination
SnapHome may suspend or terminate accounts at any time for violations of these Terms.
